Petal By Petal

Petal By Petal is a print-led project exploring floral deconstruction through the layering of individual petals. The project began with physical manipulation and image-based exploration. I then developed these designs by selecting colours to block out areas of the imagery. During the final stage I developed colour palettes and created abstract, bold graphic prints.

I created these prints for use within a fashion context, carefully considering scale and application.
